Job Description: 
Our client has a requirement for Project Manager for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The positions are located in Missisauga, Ontario. 
 
Requirement or Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day to day project activities of medium complexity or units/phases of a larger complex project Plan, execute, control and close out project against defined scope and budget. Utilize accepted standards and procedures. Maintain team relationships and team coaching and development. Manage stakeholder expectations. Manage risk and ensure compliance.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and execution of several medium complexity projects.
 
Key accountabilities are 
  • Works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals.
  • Manages activities of medium complexity projects. Ensures delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
  • Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure to meet schedules.
  • Strong involvement in business IMO.
  • Management of small to large projects (ranging in size from $400K to M), including multiple internal applications and external vendors.
  • Estimation and planning, risk assessment, contingency planning, tracking and management of progress, issues, budget, risk and resources.
  • Accountability for project budget and time lines.

 
SKILLS:
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing IT projects.
  • Full life cycle development experience.
  • Experience with proven project methodology tools.
  • PMI or ITIL certification.

Strategic Business Intelligence Consultant

Job Description: 
Our client has a requirement for a Strategic Business Intelligence Consultant for a 3 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto.

We are looking for a Strategic Business Intelligence Consultant who has acquired solid experience with Business Objects (Universe) / Data mining Design and Development background along with strong reporting.

Resumes must demonstrate a strong Business Intelligence background with experience in building reports on databases, which will assist in assisting less technical users to run various types of reports.
 
The bulk of this role will be ½ Build Universe and ½ building Reports.
The incumbent will be responsible for scoping out business needs, understanding the requirements, build upon the need and show the data captured, so that these types of reports can continue to be used.

A strong database background using MS SQL 2005 is a must. This candidate will be working on a Reporting tool (similar to Cognos) and will be required to build user friendly high level reports for Prime Brokerage and Securities Lending business management.
 
We require a candidate who has strong technical expertise as well as a strategic thinker who will be able to provide strategic solutions.
 
The candidate should also have a solid understanding of Capital Markets industry.

Must have the technical expertise identified below along with the ability to provide strategic solutions when there are technical challenges presented or identified.
 
This role is a combination of someone who is a strategic thinker with excellent communications skills and technically savvy.

Responsible for representing the Information Management and Development group in projects relating to data repositories and report generation across all lines of business.
 
Be involved in discussions regarding modifications existing environments and the establishment of new systems. Prior experience in analysis tools to query data repositories and/or generate reports is required to enable working with 3rd party vendors and other in-house IT groups.

Responsibilities will include translating business requirements into an actionable reporting/data repository implementations. Such functions would include working alongside the other Information Management and Development subgroups during a project's inception to help ensure the physical design meets the functional and performance requirements of the end-user application.

Will leverage major information architecture platforms and the experience of the Information Management & Development group to apply the best alternatives for a reporting/data repository solution.

By maintaining current awareness of strategic reporting and information platforms in the marketplace, he/she will identify capabilities and features of each project solution and translate those through documentation and communication with the Information Management & Development group as well as the rest of Information Technology.

Must be comfortable discussing information architecture concepts, disciplines and practices as they relate to reporting and data repositories. He/she will help to define and promote best practices on information architecture and reporting management. He/she should be able to apply business and application knowledge to understand the overall reporting/data model to ensure its appropriate placement within the IT infrastructure.

Our client is looking for a Solution Architect to join the Architecture and Technology Planning (ATP) team providing architecture and technology guidance to project delivery teams as they develop client solutions. WBTS supports Securities, Capital and Asset Management. The Solution Architect will have key involvement in building out our business aligned initiatives. The Solution Architect also provides expertise and counsel; ensuring technology teams and business areas understand the architectural options and technology choices in support of their business.

Accountabilities include:
*Contribute to, design and/or develop an architecture framework including technology architecture strategy, policies, 'guiding principles' and standards to govern how technology solutions will be developed and implemented -
*Partake in specifications, technical requirements, system performance objectives and identify system modifications required to meet objectives

Bilingual Call Centre Representative

SUMMARY
 
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the incumbent responds to telephone and email inquiries from stores and customers regarding store level marketing and customer programs, marketing related issues,  rewards issues and other customer service related activities. The incumbent ensures responses are provided in a prompt and effective manner to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responds to customer calls, emails and letters to provide first level customer service for store and customers, resolves issues in a prompt and efficient manner and escalates issues as required.
  • Logs of calls, emails and letters into the appropriate tracking systems and escalate issues to the appropriate person or department, as necessary, to ensure accurate and timely logging of response actions.
  • Identifies recurring issues to determine and document possible solutions and assist with the prompt resolution of issues.
  • Attends team huddles to receive current updates on issues, concerns and promotions.
  • Attends scorecard meetings to track current progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaises with internal departments to ensure call and email issues are resolved and ensure service level agreements are maintained.
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding the rewards program, current marketing programs, Distribution Centre issues, and other Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix Customer Service initiatives to provide accurate responses to concerns or issues.  
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Graduation diploma or equivalent level of education.
  • Greater than six months of general office/customer service experience.
  • Requires an understanding of inter-related work processes to be able to adapt to differing assignments.
  • Provides routine information to coordinate the assignments and work procedures of others.
  • Professional manner, tact, diplomacy and discretion in dealing with associates and colleagues including senior management.
  • Draws on a number of known options to solve problems and to develop improvements.
  • Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.  Able to work with diverse personalities and styles.
  • Communicates with clarity, verbally and in one on one or group situations, or over the telephone.

Key accountabilities are:

Description du poste
Le titulaire de ce poste se joindra à l'équipe de gestion Excellence opérationnelle TI. Exigences Diplôme universitaire en informatique. Au moins 10 années d'expérience en développement et/ou support IT, incluant de l'expérience dans un rôle de gestion. Attestation de compétence en gestion de projets (PMP), un atout. Excellente connaissance des techniques de gestion de projets. Connaissance de l'industrie de l'assurance ou de l'industrie des services financiers, un atout. Excellente connaissance des méthodologies et des outils de développement de systèmes. Job Description:
  • Co-ordinates and executes maintenance tasks with the goal of preventing unexpected downtime of infrastructure resources. Tasks can include but not limited:
  • Screening of system resource logs, antivirus scanned logs, patching analysis logs to identify issues;

Description:
 
Sous la supervision du chef d'équipe, élaborer, tester et déboguer de nouveaux logiciels ou des améliorations apportées aux logiciels existants conformément aux spécifications. Voir à ce que les résultats répondent aux attentes. Travailler avec les autres membres de l'équipe afin de se familiariser avec les applications, de saisir les problèmes qu'elles peuvent poser et de les résoudre.
Ce  mandat est prévu entre avril et aout 2011 pour un poste de consultant avec l'option de devenir permanent.
Un des projets a pour objectif de revoir les outils en place pour mieux gérer les mouvements des fonds de nos membres dans nos systèmes de pension.  Le deuxième projet est de s'assurer que tous les contrôles sont en places pour éviter des erreurs dans les changements au niveau des taux pour les fonds.
 
Specialist, Systems Development - Sharepoint

Provide Shared Services to IT and Business Partners.
 
The specialist systems development will work directly with the application analysts and end users to integrate, develop, elaborate, adapt and test technical solutions. He/she will be responsible to deliver assigned work by communicating directly with our business partners and other key stakeholders.
He/she will provide support to install environments, portals, tools and other activities, as required, to support testing of the application.
- Formulates program scope, efforts and objectives through research and fact-finding.
- Sets up testing environments, libraries, tools and other elements required to perform development and testing tasks.
- Clarifies with users and prepares complex detailed specifications from which programs will be created or modified.
- Implements a set of specifications by coding, compiling and testing complex computer applications.
- Develops and modifies program and system documentation for both users and Operations.
- Analyzes and reviews existing system and program logic problems as necessary.
- Produces test plans and strategies for programs under his/her responsibility.
- Supports users during testing phase of new applications or modifications.
- Takes an active part with other IT specialists during development, test and debug activities.
- Is accountable to deliver quality results and user satisfaction.
- Acts as a technical specialist and provides guidance and training to less experienced staff.
- Identifies and reports risks and weaknesses, applies operational controls to mitigate these risks.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, in particular the need to protect personal information of customers, intermediaries and employees.

Knowledge (theoretical and practical) of the following:
  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Programming/Analysis environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Sharepoint 2007 and/or 2010
  • Very good knowledge of C#, ASP and .Net
  • Good knowledge of Windows WorkFlow Foundation
  • Good knowledge of SQL database and SQL programming language
  • Knowledge of Captiva and Neoload is an asset
  • Practical experience in agile development approach is an asset
  • Ability to clearly document all technical changes following appropriate coding standards
  • Ability to adapt quickly, meet deadlines, and demonstrate problem-solving skills

The Director, Resource Information Management, at our Government of Canada Client requires the assistance of a qualified Expert in PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcing module to conduct an analysis of all functionalities available in the PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcing Module V. 9.0, according to the business processes of Materiel and Contract Management Directorate. 

Our client would like the Senior PeopleSoft Consultant to conduct a review of completed work of relevance to the current configuration and functionalities related to the business requirements and make recommendations which would allow functionalities to meet and improve our clients' business requirements and to exploit the system's potential to the fullest.
 
Qualifications:
 
The Senior PeopleSoft Consultant will possess the following skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcing Module.
  • Facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills that encourage active participation, the collection of relevant information for analysis and the sharing of feedback to conclusions and recommendations.

Business Analyst

The Consultant will be responsible to provide the following Services and Deliverables:
  • Holding discovery/JAD sessions to gather the requirements for RUSMP project;
  • Analysing and mapping of existing processes/data to future to-be" processes/data;
  • Creating/updating of system requirements, including the development and maintenance of business and system use case specifications;

  • Extensive experience in Road User Safety and Ministry of Transportation programs and services;

Project Manager III

We are looking for a Sr. IT Project Manager who has experience in managing medium to large infrastructure projects or infrastructure project upgrade. This candidate will also manage a number of direct reports including a Testing Manager and Lead Developer and work with various stakeholders.

Plan, coordinate and supervise complex informatics assignments. Design and apply new methods and procedures. Coordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analsyi8s and programming. Develop, plan, analyze, evaluate and assign priorities to deliverables and requirements. Define project phases, set deadlines and manage staff. Develop project plans with milestones. Coordinate all meeting and interface with business units, staff and service providers.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and execution of multiple projects and project managers. Accountable for managing broad and highly complex teams and projects involving significant scope and complexity.


Key accountabilities are:
* Sets direction at an operational level, works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals.
* Direct or manages large-scale applications, programs or projects across multiple product lines, involving significant scope and complexity. Ensures delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
* Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure meet promised schedules.
* Performs risk identification and mitigation activities, escalating unresolved issues to the Executive and / or Steering Committee where appropriate to secure their timely decisions/support.
* Manages the acquisition and deployment of resources, including budget, by working with the Project Managers to secure the resources required for the project.
* Ensures client satisfaction with the project process and project team by effective and timely communication including status reporting, continual risk/issue assessment/management and escalation, and resolution of issues as they arise.
* The successful candidate will be required to work with and influence senior level leaders and partner with other IT Managers.
* Manage a team that consists of 50 - 100 people. SKILLS: Proven leadership skills and experience managing large and complex IT projects. Full life cycle development experience. Experience with proven project methodology tools. PMI or ITIL certification. Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint.
